Everyone has one more chance to weigh in on the One Conference proposal headed to Annual Conference.
With little more than a month until structure proposals are required to be submitted to the Detroit and West Michigan Annual Conferences, plans are underway by the Design Team for a final state-wide listening session to be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in Lansing.

Design Team members spent November and December finalizing the Plan of Organization proposal based on input heard during three listening sessions conducted in November. The January 17 listening session will be held at the Michigan Area Ministry Center, 1011 Northcrest Road, Lansing, MI 48906 beginning at 7:00PM. The event will be carried live via ZOOM, a webcast system. Click this link to download the free software and join the webcast, sent out to subscribers of the MI Design newsletter and posted on conference social media channels. Individuals will have the ability to watch, comment and participate in the live discussion from anywhere with web access.

Said Rev. Marsha Woolley, Co-Chair of the Design Team, “We want to make sure there has been the opportunity for everyone to weigh in on what we will be voting on this June at Annual Conference.”  Additional information presented at the listening session will include the latest work on the vision statement, redistricting recommendations, staffing, protection policies, and updates on area facilities.
