The Albion and Marquette Districts will officially welcome their new superintendents this fall.
Bishop David Bard welcomed two new district superintendents to the Michigan Cabinet on July 1.
Rev. Scott Harmon left his post as pastor of Frankenmuth UMC to become a the spiritual and administrative leader of the Marquette District. He stepped in as the Rev. Elbert Dulworth finished five years of service to be appointed the Senior Pastor of Birmingham First UMC. Rev.
Harmon will be installed during a in worship service at Ishpeming: Wesley UMC on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 3pm. The church is located at 81 Hemlock Street, Ishpeming 49849.
Rev. Dale Miller left retirement from the Detroit Conference to serve the Albion District. Rev Tamara Williams retired after eight years as Superintendent.
Rev. Miller will be officially welcomed to the role on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 3pm. The celebration will be held at Marshall United Methodist Church, 721 Old US 27 North, Marshall 49068.
