What would MLK say?

A rabbi sees parallels between the Civil Rights Movement and The Exodus of the Hebrew people.

Rabbi Jeffrey K. Salkin is the spiritual leader of Temple Solel in Hollywood, Florida. He blogs at “Martini Judaism … for those who want to be shaken and stirred.”

In his recent Passover reflection, “What MLK would say today,” the Rabbi calls King a living expression of The Exodus and quotes King’s colleague, Ralph Abernathy, who routinely introduced him as the “Moses of the twentieth century.”
